What began with a senior in high school's passion to provide 40 inner-city kids with a Christmas gift in 2011, has expanded into a unique Christmas experience that has captured the heart of the Lowcountry!

Adopt a Classroom

How does Adopt a Classroom differ from other toy drives?

Adopt a Classroom combines two very key components together to make an unforgettable Christmas experience for our students: intentionality & gifts.

Unlike many Holiday gift giving programs, we go against simply "giving back". We strongly encourage our donors to not only give back through their resources such as financial donations or gifts, but to give back, what we see as the most important thing, their time.

Donors have multiple chances to not only build relationships with the students they purchase gifts for, but to build relationships with other community members through our delivery days and community wrapping night!

The Growth.

2011: 40 students.

2012: 900 students.

2013: 1,500 students.

2014: 3,000 students.

2015: 4,200 students. 3 cities.
